Well A. I got bored, B. I got bored and C I got bored
Ima teach ya the very basics when it comes to building a good team, for some reason not everyone follows these basics, whether they don't know it or they just don't care. Back before I stopped playing i developed lots of teams and beat just as many whether pro or noob....lost some too (hey cant win them all) sooner or later you will lose, I say I was one of the best strategists on na some may agree others may disagree but lots that remember me will tell you one thing about me id give you a hell of a time in a game.. and i was always team testing trying to develop new teams to the point i didn't even care about my streak or ratio anymore just bigger and better teams.. ok enough of that onto your lesson now pay attention
Chapter one - Mechanics
this is the very basic before putting a team together whether you know your doing it or not everyone does this. Learn the mechanics of a character, how they work , what roles they play, how they could be used outside there roles...
ok before I lose you, with roles and mechanics this is the sae as a car so to speak knowing how the characters work is like knowing how a car works....im not comparing this game to a car im comparing the under stand
Roles - they are the job your characters going to play... im going to post the roles from before all the changes, many roles has changed since then so its up yo you to figure them out...
Roles
stunner - defense nuls also fall under this category
drainer
tank (heavy hitter) - this is whether its aoe or not
Healer
and gai's counter punch - i really never knew to put this
Sub roles
stunner - wallers, defense nullifiers
drainer- poisons skills
tanks- piercers, aoe, d/r
ok whats the difference between piercers and defense nullifiers? Its simple with damage nullifiers the usual remove defensive skills whether it been time period or entire team while piercers only that certain skill can go through d/r
ok now that I got that description outta the way ill go into example with Sakura
First off the first think you should look at the mechanics of each skill
psycho/inner sakura- reduces 25%, stuns last 1 turn less, and ko punch is doubled
ko punch- 15 damage 1 turn stun
cure- heals 20 to herself and 1 ally
from this understanding we know she can play the a hybrid role of either a stunner, tanker, healer.. most people usually try to use her as a tanker by getting that psycho sakura up, im saying theres nothing wrong with that she usually is the very first targeted but theres one role she can play i didn't mention.. many feared characters can play this role yet few take advantage of it, the distraction even among pros i see and use this to my advantage there are characters auto targeted first (and for good reason) leaving to of your other characters safe for a time being (unless your facing a stun or drain team.
Chapter two - Breaking down a teams mechanics
Now this is how i got most my wins, whether it was against the hokage (damnit what was his name ss... somthing ss_ king or something like that it was before the crash i beat him and made him lose first rank it put me in second and put him in third, then two matches later we faced again and i lost moral of this stories don't use the same team two often why, he knew the mechanics of my team from our previous match... and there are times you will fight the same person more the 1 time, there was times i fought the same people 3 times in a row, and two times in a row after they lost they sued a different team, some times i won again and sometimes i lost.
Now of course in the middle of a game you cant just look at an opponents characters and see all there skills this is where memory comes in, i bet you nearly every vet can still tell you what the original zabuza was like.. (i know i can he was a god) band if you play a lot you probably can recall 88% of what every character skills in this game is.. (now heres where many people mess up)
The players
Noobs- will try and steal every good team they see or ask for teams with certain characters in them (some average players do this as well)
average/moderate player - with or without knowing will build a team around certain characters (especially if you're doing a mission).
how to beat
when you break down these types of teams usually this falls for stun and drain teams, breaking down the mechanics can point out the teams weak point meaning that one character if they die you've basically already one because that was there king piece so checkmate..
above average/pros- ok heres where the best of the best really shine teams where the character pulls there role to play and much more if needed, these of the teams where 1 character can die and you still at a brick wall knowing 1 mistake can be game over. These players aren't fools they build there teams not around one single strategy or character but where each character pulls there own wait and if one dies the other two can pick up the slack, these players can turn the tables on you if you get too over confident
How to beat
if there was only one strategy, patience is the key, many whether is pro or noob complain about other players taking there time... well time is of an essence when it comes to strategy plan every move out make and try to foresee the out comes and in a best game scenario you'll end up with one character and resd and they have one character in rend and it depends on luck of the draw

Heres one of my old teams try to break down how i used it if you would like, withen all before the changes to na i only got 3 losses with this team.. (that was usually my limit with teams before i worked on a new)
Kabuto/shino/ukon
Things you need to know
kabuto
tempest nirvana nullified defense for 5 turns, 4 cooldown 1 gen 1 random
healing healed 15 for 5 rounds, 1 nin 1 random 6 cooldown
shino bug wall made team invul for 2 turns2 blood 1 random (forgot cooldown)
ukon
healed 35 damage for two random
how to beat
Chaper three - Analyzing and Judgement.
Well i just got out of a game not to long ago which brought this to my atention, and since the old guide needed an update wle lets get started.
I chapters one and two i go into analyzing, but not in depth here i will. well im not going go step by step using a tet team im currently using
Jiroubuo/Shodia/Kin
*Leaders note* Iv yet to fully grasps an understanding pf kin which is one reason why she is in the team.. that and chiyo's rampage to hit the right character*
ok at the very beganning of the match i went first and skipped my turn as usual, my opponent was using Neji/Kimi/Hinata
My oppnent as most that use kimi do, used Dance of the Seedling Ferns ending my there turn,..
On my next turn I did nothing but use kins unerving bells.

On my third turn I used Dungeon chamber of nothingess,and for the first 2 turns i did nothing, but on the third turn i also activated Birth of trees..
*Leaders notes: Against a pro and some above average players this would more then likely be a waste of time, but against semi average and noob players this can be a bessing as the combo of Birth of trees and Dungeon trees = 90 destruction points for 1 turn. Its not hard to determine the type of player your playing but on this new engine, this combo could be used to do some serious Birth of trees time, seeing how its only 3 turns long and with dungeon chamber up your opponent gains 30 points... if either side loses there points the entire skill ends....*
If I havent confused you by now I couldve made any move from just straight attack, to playing defense, and seeing how i was facing a drain spiker team I did my best to predict the asituation and what would happen...
A different choice
If i wouldve chosen to set up Birth of tress while attacking with jirobou of course i would've did alittle damage with a prep up, but in exchange more then likely i was going to be either drained by hinata or drained by neji while hinata did her devine palms lowering my destruction points while getting a 50% reduction.
*fast forward to the near end of the battle*
Ok I didnt want to do too much typing giving all of you all a shit load to read so here is where analyzing really came in
I juist killed, hinata (kimi died like 3 turns back) and lost birth of trees, as well as my oppnent chose to use gentle fist on jiroubuo killing him. I have only shodai left with 15 hp 2 tais and 2 reds, neji has 35 hp left still has the ability to go invul as well as divine spin.. my turn is almost up what can i do to win? Take a minute and Figure it out before you red on..
Heres how I obtained victoru
Spoiler I remember reading in the skill that tree stranglation would stun for too turns under certain conditiosn which i did not meet, but found somthing better after reading. Branch manipulation, I so if used after tree strangle it did 15 extra damage which added up to 45 damage,killing neji on my next turn when i used it
Like i said up top i didnt jsut want to go all into bnoring text so i decided to try and give you all some insight on it, before anyone starts to yell this should be coming knowledge stop and think, how many times have you lust a game due to a simple mistake or not having enough insight on your characters skills and ability or on your opponents team? even though analyzation should be common knowledge its a skill which many chooses to ignore wether tis on purpose or unknowingly...

(depending on how your opponent moves your answer can differ)

*leaders note: Shino and chiyo are the only tested characters that can do damage peirce through both detrusion points and damage reduction but only chiyo of the two can attack an opponent that is invulanrable of any type..
