Watch the spammage people
Seriously.....does the price for the PS3 really matter? Think of it this way, if they were all 100$ which one would you get if you could only pick 1

I agree price doesnt matter much. Its the games and the game play of those games. Halo 3, Super Smash bros Brawl, and Kingdom hearts 3 are the all stars of 2009-08(maybe longer for kh3) in my opinion

I honestly have to say that my favorite is the 360. Its games like Bioshock, Gears of War are my favorite next gen. games.
And I have played all three of them. The PS3 is nowhere near the best...

Wii for me, I like the 360 but..........well here's an article
Case Study: One 360 Owner’s Tale of Woe
10/13/2007, 5:23pm Eastern Time
While Wii and PS3 problem stories remain few and far between (failure rates for those systems are reportedly less than 1%), the same does not hold true for the 360. Sources vary on the failure rate of Microsoft's console, with some placing the number at close to 33%. There is no question that it remains high; this ND staffer informally talked to seven different 360 owners in the last week, all of whom have had their systems break down for some reason or another.
It would seem inevitable that such an unreliable system with such a large install base would tax the resources and patience of Microsoft’s customer service. Such was the case with one moderator over at the 360 fansite, Achieve360Points.com. Speaker Ender, who says he stood in line for a 360 at launch, cites himself as an “Xbox 360 man at heart” and “very good customer” who has spent upwards of $3,000 on 360-related products. He then goes on in his article to detail his many difficulties with 360 customer service, which include being hung up on two occasions by a customer service rep. Although he believes his story may be abnormal, his final numbers are nevertheless staggering. From his article:
Number of Xbox 360s that have died on me: 3 dead Xbox 360s
Number of lights that I’ve encountered: 9 flashing red ones
Number of calls to 1-800-4MY-XBOX since March: 22 calls
Number of callbacks promised: 15
Number of callbacks received: 3
Number of SR’s started: 9
Number of SR’s closed or replaced due to being set up incorrectly: 5
Number of SR’s closed due to issues actually being resolved: 2
Most Number of times I was asked my name and phone number during a single call: 11 times
Number of times I was told "Microsoft will contact you when the investigation is complete": 40+
Number of times that I ended up on the Spanish language hold line: 8
Total spent on Xbox 360 related products: 20.78
Amount of XBL content not working properly: 25,600 points (9.87)
Total time spent on the phone with 1-800-4MY-XBOX: 1 day, 2 hours, 55 minutes
Total time spent trying various remedies: 1 day, 9 hours, 55 minutes
TOTAL TIME TRYING TO RESOLVE ISSUES WITH MY XBOX 360’s: 2 days, 2 hours, 50 minutes
As of the time of this article, Speaker Ender has yet to receive a working 360 and has yet to play Halo 3.

The Wii has some problems as well.
There's that WiiConnect24 Problem that can cause your Wii to heat up and stuff.
http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/11/wiiconnect24_en.php
One of Nintendo's biggest accomplishments with the new Nintendo Wii is its extremely low power consumption. During gameplay, the device uses only 17 watts, less electricity than a compact fluorescent light bulb (not including the display.) The Wii uses at least ten times less power than either the PS3 or the Xbox 360.
However, the Wii has been marketed along with an online service from Nintendo called WiiConnect24. This service encourages users to keep their Wii's on all the time, while delivering them services like free games, firmware updates, news, and some social networking. The problem is that WiiConnect24 prevents the Wii from having a true power-save standby, and keeps the device on all the time. Initial reports show the Wii using about 10 watts of power in standby mode, five times that of the XBOX 360 and ten times EU recommendations.
The only solution, of course, is to unplug your Wii at the source, thus not making as much use of the WiiConnect24 service. Not since the first generation of gaming systems has there been such an efficient in-home system. After all that work to ensure plenty of performance without a lot of power, WiiConnect24 seems like a short-sighted move by Nintendo.

Does it really matter, when you normally turn off the Wii it ,goes into standby mode (Yellow Light on the console) which goes into WiiConnect24.
All you have to do is press and hold the Power Button on the console and the console fully turns off (Red Light on the console) and does not go into WiiConnect24

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having WiiConnect24 anyway?
Some Wiis may experience this, some may not. Turning off the Wii just delays the eventual overheat of the Wii.

...There are countless games that are better than Halo.
Every Final Fantasy game is better than Halo, so you've got about 20+ right there.
