Both options were terrible, it's even sad to think that the "fatherland" of democracy has two choices only. But nothing us mortals can do about it.

It's pointless to bash on Trump, he shall be judged by his actions. Let's see what will turn out. I personally don't think it will be any different compared to the previous presidents, since it's clear that there are people behind him who have way more power, such as David Rockefeller. Not to mention that the Congress has the right to negate any action of the President and the President can negate any action of the Congress.
