I made the stupid mistake of "upgrading" from a S4 to a S6 a year ago and so far, I've been looking for a new phone to replace it but I've noticed that the technology in phones, hasn't really changed all that much in my opinion in the last 5 years.

Do you agree?
What are they doing wrong?
Is it the consumer's fault for not asking for actual changes?

Consumers get the short end of the stick all the time when it comes to phone tech. Perfect example would be IR blasters found in old flagships to use the phone as a remote. If you ask anyone , the would assume that the later flagships would have the same tech since it came in handy but , recently the phones are being released without these things because the companies say stuff like that is unused by the majority. Its a nest feature that doesn't really have any disadvantage in being included yet still you won't find it in any major phone released this year.
