My IPhone 4s won't charge but it will.

It won't charge when plugged but when it dies it'll boot back up only because it was plugged in and it keeps cycling like this.

I've tried different chargers and they do the same and I've already tried a restart and reset.

Can anyone help?
Credit goes to Shegi for the avy.

Very old main account of mine.

It always seems like misfortune is my religion.

It's probably your charging port or a motherboard issue.
Neither can be fixed through following steps on the comp.
It's a VERY precise procedure. Take it to a professional.

Open that sucker up and look up a how to video. You can do it, but if you mess up (which you probably will), you're fucked.

If you're good with iPhones/phone parts (I am) find a guide online on what to do. This is not recommended without experience.

If not, go to the apple store/phone store, and find someone that knows what they are doing.
